As you have already noticed, monitoring your website is crucial. You need to know if it's up and available. Sometimes it's enough, but there are specific cases when one would like to know more details...
Here comes CULA and its' Content Checking feature. The number of potential use-cases is limitless! We are presenting just two examples below.

Sometimes HTTP-200 or any other positive HTTP response code is not enough. Accidents happen, from time to time websites get hacked and defaced. In such case, site is still up but the content might be... inappropriate. So in order to be more sure, checking a content of website can be very helpful and informative. In this scenario we are going to use our favourite one -

We can set CULA up to look for the "main" text FREE active monitoring companion. We would also like to be sure that no ERROR is present - just because it usually means trouble. In order to do that, you need to add the given URLs to monitored ones, then open the Content Checking widget and adjust the settings.

These were very basic yet useful checks. So let's come up with more sophisticated one! Nowadays, a lot of sales happen in the internet, there are bazillions of e-shops and auctions. Let's assume you want to be aware when somebody overbids you on an auction (or when somebody bids your item for sale). Guess what... here comes CULA! You can easily check for prices on auctions.

Let's assume we want to be notified once the price changes. We set content checking up: voilà! Everything is ready.

Once the conditions are fulfilled, an email alert is sent to you. This means one can quickly react to auctions' bids, rate changes, rating list changes and many many more.
